JUNE

June in Tuscany is a time of anticipation, a quiet transition that marks the arrival of summer and the beginning of a new season. JUNE draws inspiration from this atmosphere, created as a place where friends and family gather to share moments of conviviality in the open air.

Originally conceived as a kitchen, a place of creativity, conversation and connection, JUNE is reimagined here as a sculptural bar unit. It becomes a focal point for mixing and serving drinks, encouraging dialogue between host and guests while celebrating the beauty of natural materials and the rituals of entertaining.

Its symmetrical form and softly curved geometry create an intuitive, semi-circular workflow. The worktop is divided into two functional zones that can be configured to suit individual needs, providing dedicated areas for preparation, ingredients, washing and a modular ice station. Multiple units can also be combined to create larger serving arrangements.

JUNE is crafted from Tuscan travertine quarried in the region surrounding Vaselli's workshop. Although naturally cool to the touch, the stone possesses a remarkable warmth and softness. Formed through thousands of years of gradual sedimentation, its distinctive veining flows seamlessly along the sculptural curves of the piece, beautifully contrasted by the satin-finished stainless steel of its technical elements.

Each JUNE unit begins as a single block of Becagli Travertine, quarried from the Rapolano basin. The block is divided into three slabs of varying thicknesses, each worked independently before being reassembled. The lower slab forms the lightened plinth, the central slab creates the body of the unit, from which the curved stone doors are carefully cut to preserve the continuity of the veining, while the upper slab is carved to form the worktop and integrated sink. Once complete, the individual components are reunited to reconstruct the original monolithic block.

The curved stone doors follow the welcoming geometry of the unit and are lightened internally to allow effortless operation through a concealed pivot mechanism. JUNE incorporates only water-resistant internal components, allowing it to be installed outdoors without the need for the protection of a pergola.

A removable stainless steel grid conceals a solid stone sink fitted with a pull-out spray head for cleaning after service. The integrated glacette features a modular system that can be configured as a champagne station, wine station, cocktail station or a hybrid arrangement, adapting effortlessly to different occasions.

Like every Vaselli creation, JUNE is conceived as a versatile architectural object, equally at home as an outdoor bar, a service counter or a fully functional outdoor kitchen.
